Please read our detailed instructions if you are booking a make-up video lesson for the first time. After reading and agreeing to the policies, clicking on “Accept” will take you to the scheduling page.
Most Important
At earliest, appointments need to be booked for the day AFTER the live class occurs. Please email us if you have a special circumstance that requires you to make up the class in advance. The scheduling site only displays times that are at least 12 hours in the future, so please plan ahead and make your booking at least 12 hours before your desired appointment time.
A class should be made up within one week or ideally before the next class so that students do not fall behind.
FOR IN-PERSON STUDENTS: You will come onsite to do the make-up lesson during our office hours. We will not be posting videos for you online.
FOR ONLINE STUDENTS ONLY: After you’ve made your appointment through our website, we will upload a recording of the class and post a private link in Google Classroom for you. Once you receive the notification that the video link has been posted, you do NOT have to wait until your appointment time to view the lesson. Watching the lesson earlier gives students more time to complete the homework.
Your confirmation email will include links for you to CANCEL or RESCHEDULE your appointment . If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please check your spam first before emailing us to resolve the issue. You cannot reschedule appointments for times that are less than 12 hours from now.
When scheduling your video lesson, you must write STUDENT NAME, CLASS NAME, and DATE MISSED in the comments text box labeled “optional.” Without this information, we cannot pull the correct homework and video.
Make-up Fees
When make-up lessons are scheduled online at least 12 hours in advance of your desired appointment time:
- $10 fee for each make-up class due to the extra work it creates for our staff.
When make-up lessons are:
- scheduled less than 12 hours in advance (by phone or email)
- not scheduled
$15 per class due at the time of make up. Not all same-day appointments will be approved.
