4th – 8th Grades
Technology is an integral part of our lives, and it is important that students can effectively employ technology to communicate their ideas. In our technology classes, students will learn to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to produce documents and presentations similar to those required in their school classes. Our courses will also strengthen students’ Internet research skills. Older students will create a website and a blog, work with Google Docs, and gain experience with databases. All students will apply these skills in creating and presenting three research assignments to their classes. NOTE: For students who were enrolled in the technology class last summer, the assignments this year will be different and will build upon the skills they learned last year. ffffff
